First steps at Paris Men's Fashion Week FW25/26
Paris Men's Fashion Week, which concluded on January 26, marked the final sprint of menswear trends for the Fall Winter 2025 season. The event comprised shows from some of fashion’s known names and several newcomers to the official show calendar. These include: 3.Paradis, Willy Chavarria, Charles Jeffrey Loverboy, Post Archive Faction, and Les Fleurs Studio.

3.PARADIS

3.Paradis, a Parisian contemporary ready-to-wear label founded by Emeric Tchatchoua in 2013, won the Andam jury’s special prize in 2024. Tchatchoua has directed 3.Paradis with an entirely distinct visionary approach to contemporary fashion, celebrating freedom, hope, and universalism. The designer's Paris youth, Japanese culture, pop art, and African roots have also influenced his style and designs. The brand produces finely crafted clothing pieces bringing a refreshing aesthetic with a modern interpretation of collaged silhouettes and fashion storytelling explored from a unique realistic perspective. “Quiet Storm” is the title of the FW25 collection, inspired by designer Emeric Tchatchoua’s teenage memories of Montreal winter. The name comes from the message encouraging the audience to prioritize the present moment. “This collection is a personal reflection on moments where time feels suspended, where the mundane transforms into the extraordinary,” said Tchatchoua.

WILLY CHAVARRIA

New York-based designer Willy Chavarria launched his namesake brand in 2015. Chavarria, a recent winner of the CFDA’s Menswear Designer of the Year Award, brought his collection to Paris for the first time, to mark the tenth anniversary of his eponymous label. Showcased in the baroque setting of the American Cathedral, his refined workwear tailoring took inspiration from his Mexican-American background. With the Tarantula FW25 collection, Chavarria delivered a profound message, highlighting that inclusion, diversity, and intersectionality are fundamental brand principles. On this occasion, the Mexican-American California native collaborated with Tinder and the non-governmental organization Human Rights Campaign (HRC) to support the LGBTQ+ community.

CHARLES JEFFREY LOVERBOY

Scottish fashion designer, illustrator, stylist, and radical creative Charles Jeffrey is the founder and designer of the London fashion label Charles Jeffrey Loverboy. Loverboy’s visual identity is steeped in Jeffrey’s autobiographical primary research. The collections are anchored by Charles’ personal styling codes, as well as those of his friends and collaborators. The result is a potent clash of references both subcultural and traditional, Scottish and Pagan, interpreted through an illustrative, DIY approach to design. Looking back to look forward, the collections re-render historical references as intrinsically modern with a tribute to queer art. Charles unveiled his Fall/Winter 2025 collection, titled “I Am a Product”, at Dover Street Market presenting a provocative “Fight Night” exhibition that celebrated London’s raw nightlife in a mix of fashion, music, film, photography, and dance. The designer's vision drew inspiration from an intersection of Victoriana and Weimar Republic cabarets, where the dress codes of Catholic Ireland’s school uniforms contrasted with Punk rebellion.

POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF)

Born in 1992 in Seoul, Dongjoon Lim studied Industrial Design and Spatial Design at Hongik University from 2012 to 2016 and started working as a UX designer for fashion brands and IT companies. He developed an interest in fashion and became a self-trained menswear designer. In 2018, he launched Post Archive Faction (PAF). The Korean menswear brand based in the South explores new structural formulas and the collections are presented as versions that evolve over the years. Post Archive Faction, was a semi-finalist for the LVMH Prize in 2021. The FW25 presentation started out with a nap where models clothed in the brand's gear, after, it was a showcase of great tech wear, fluid silhouettes, and experimental outerwear.

LES FLEURS STUDIO

Paris-based label Les Fleurs Studio was born in 2019 by the founder and creative director Maria Bernad. Since its foundation Les Fleurs has become a beacon of innovation in the world of luxury fashion, blending timeless elegance with a revolutionary commitment to sustainability. The collections are designed by reusing materials and creating new designs from zero waste. Vintage, second-hand, and upcycling are the core pillars of all collections inspired by nature itself and always with an artistic and historical approach trying to give a message behind every product. The pieces are made of old materials, fabrics, and clothing based on Maria's research and passion for vintage pieces and history. Each creation tells a unique story of excellence, redefining the boundaries of what luxury fashion can achieve.
