The new edition of Italian Fashion Days in Korea, the exhibition project presenting a selection of collections from Italian companies on the Korean market, is taking place from Wednesday, January 28 to Friday, January 30, 2026, in Seoul, at The Platz pavilion in Coex, the most important exhibition center in Gangnam, the district home to the Korean capital's main showrooms, distributors, department stores, and retail chains. The event features 48 Italian brands with their new collections for Fall/Winter 2026-2027 for women's and men's fashion: clothing, outerwear and fur, footwear, leather goods, and accessories.
This edition of Italian Fashion Days in Korea is also organized in collaboration between Ente Moda Italia, the Italian Fur Association, Assocalzaturifici, Assopellettieri, Confindustria Moda, and in partnership with Bottega Italia. The event, strongly supported by the Italian Embassy in Seoul, is supported by ICE, which coordinates local promotion and contributes to the project through the ICE Fiere Smart 365 digital platform, dedicated to enhancing the visibility of Italian companies in international markets.
"EMI continues its investment in the Korean market. This year's event will feature 48 participating companies," said Alberto Scaccioni, ceo of Ente Moda Italia, "confirming the strong interest the initiative has generated, as evidenced by the high level of participation from Italian companies and key figures involved in the show."
"This event confirms its strategic importance for our industry," said Giovanna Ceolini, President of Assocalzaturifici. "In an increasingly complex global market, presenting a high-profile offering in Seoul is the best way to support companies wishing to showcase the excellence of Made in Italy footwear to local buyers, who have always been among the most sophisticated and attentive to evolving tastes. Data collected by the Confindustria Fashion Accessories Research Center confirms the centrality of this region: South Korea currently ranks sixteenth in the ranking of our export destinations. In the first nine months of 2025, Italian companies exported a remarkable 752,090 pairs of shoes to the Korean market, generating a total value of €138,718,103. What stands out is the extremely high perceived quality of our product. Korean consumers aren't just looking for a pair of shoes, but a combination of technique, craftsmanship, and design that only our manufacturers can offer. Italian Fashion Days is the leading event in the sector of fashion associations, a natural stage to allow our SMEs to intercept a demand that rewards the authentic value of our creations.”
