The Fall/Winter 2026/27 collections presented by Ukrainian designers are underway in Kyiv. The season was postponed due to Russia’s military attacks on Ukraine’s infrastructure. Despite these circumstances, Ukrainian Fashion Week continues, reaffirming the sector's determination and professional resilience to support and develop the Ukrainian fashion ecosystem.

MODEM highlights some of the brands that have joined the official schedule, including Kris Marán, Serotoninn, leCri, Saiman el Sabari, and Yaroslav Filip.

KRIS MARÁN
@kris_maran

Kris Marán is the creative vision of two sisters, Anna and Kristina Stelmakh, and their mother, Maria, a trio that celebrates the many layers of female identity without confining a woman to a particular one. Founded and based in Ukraine, Kris Marán explores the multiplicity of women’s roles through permanent, curated Wardrobes, rejecting the idea of fixed persona or single identity. It stands as a testament to Kris Marán’s core principles: deconstruction, minimalism, and a deep appreciation for clean, sculptural forms. Each piece is crafted locally in Kris Marán’s Ukrainian atelier, where a single tailor oversees the entire creation process, ensuring precision, artistry, and a sense of intimacy in every garment.

SEROTONINN
@serotoninn_official

Serotoninn is an independent womenswear brand founded in 2017 by Lena Schnelle, a Kyiv-born designer, and rooted between Germany and Kyiv, Ukraine. Bold, festive, and unapologetically grungy, its limited-edition collections are designed for those who treat fashion as a form of art, self-expression, and rebellion. The brand’s mission is to help people reconnect with their truest selves. Each piece is handmade in Kyiv using luxury deadstock fabrics from Italy. Limited editions only. Each design is part of a carefully crafted series made in collaboration with small local manufacturers. Serotoninn believes in sustainability, individuality, and creative freedom.

LECRI
@lecri.brand

leCRI is a sustainable Ukrainian women's clothing brand that produces unique upcycled and knitted clothing, founded by Anna Kuzmenko. The fall-winter 26/27 collection is inspired by the Ama, Japan’s legendary women of the sea. The designer drew inspiration from the aesthetics, rituals, and mysticism surrounding a unique female profession that has endured for millennia. The collection seeks to reinterpret traditional Japanese fabric-manipulation techniques. Remaining true to the brand’s DNA, the collection incorporates recycled and unconventional materials, placing emphasis on craftsmanship, experimental processes, and sculptural fabric manipulation.

SAIMAN EL SABARI
@saiman.elsabari

The fall-winter 2026/27 collection, titled "Sumud" (an ancient Arabic word), is a manifest of inner armour. It is not a slogan; it is a deep, almost meditative ability to stay upright in a reality that is constantly changing the rules. For designer Saiman El Sabari, this collection is a language of identity; it explores the moment when familiar supports disappear, and a person is forced to rebuild their identity. It is a manifesto of personal autonomy under the pressure of global circumstances.

YAROSLAV FILIP
@yaroslavfilip

Founded by the eponymous designer, Yaroslav Filip. The collection, named Stop Stigma, and created in collaboration with the brand’s co-designer Ivanna Polishchuk, "is not about protest for the sake of protest. It is about the possibility of being heard without explanations. About clothing that does not define a person, but leaves them space to be themselves.” The foundation of the collection is the upcycling of men’s suits as a metaphor for framing, restraint, and social attachment to roles, gender, and expectations. The suit ceases to be a marker of status or gender and becomes a carrier of personal history. The collection is deliberately not tied to gender, age, or templates.
