The semi-final of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers, founded by Delphine Arnault and Jean-Paul Claverie, brought together twenty young designers selected among over 2,400 candidates. They presented their designs to the Prize Experts during the event, which was held on March 4 and 5 at La Samaritaine in Paris.

Nine brands were then selected to take part in the final. The shortlisted designers will present their collections to the Prize Jury at the final, which will take place on Friday 4 September at the Fondation Louis Vuitton.

The nine finalists of the 2026 LVMH Prize are: Colleen Allen by Colleen Allen, United States, womenswear; De Pino by Gabriel Figueiredo, France, womenswear; Institution by Galib Gassanoff, Georgia, womenswear, menswear and genderless collections; Julie Kegels by Julie Kegels, Belgium, womenswear; LII by Zane Li, China, womenswear and menswear; Petra Fagerström by Petra Fagerström, Sweden, womenswear; Ponte by Harry Pontefract, United Kingdom, womenswear and menswear; The Vxlley by Daniel del Valle Fernandez, Spain, genderless collections; Yoshita 1967 by Anil Padia, Kenya, womenswear.

During the final on September 4, the Jury will select the winners of the LVMH Prize, the Karl Lagerfeld Prize, and the Savoir-Faire Prize.

“I am delighted to announce the names of the nine finalists for the 2026 LVMH Prize. This shortlist illustrates the Prize’s reach, with designers from the United States, Europe, China, and, for the first time, Kenya. The finalists demonstrated a singular creative vision while offering highly sophisticated interpretations of traditional craftsmanship. I am also very grateful to our Committee of Experts for their commitment to emerging talent," said Delphine Arnault. "Furthermore, on the occasion of this edition, I am delighted to welcome new members to our exceptional Jury: Jack McCollough, Lazaro Hernandez, Camille Miceli, Michael Rider, and Pietro Beccari. I warmly congratulate the finalists and look forward to welcoming them to the LVMH Prize final, which will be held at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris.”

The LVMH Prize rewards the winner of the LVMH Prize with a 400,000-euro endowment and a one-year tailored mentorship by LVMH teams. Moreover, the winners of the Karl Lagerfeld Prize and of the Savoir-Faire Prize each receive a 200,000-euro allocation and also enjoy a one-year mentorship by LVMH teams. Finally, every year the Prize distinguishes three young fashion school graduates. Each winner, as well as their school, will receive 10,000 euros and join the design studio of one of the group’s Houses for one year.
