The Global Fashion Summit: Copenhagen Edition 2026 is scheduled to take place at the Copenhagen Concert Hall from May 5 to 7, 2026, with preparatory events on 5 May at an array of locations across Copenhagen. The Summit will gather over 1,000 leaders from across the fashion value chain for timely discussions, informative case studies, and constructive meetings for solution sharing.

This year’s programme will feature curated content across five stages, offering an expanded range of perspectives and formats designed to inspire action and foster collaboration. Participants will have access to an unrivalled networking experience, connecting with executives, directors, policymakers, innovators, and sustainability leaders from over 48 countries. The Summit offers unparalleled opportunities to engage with peers, discover innovative solutions, and forge meaningful partnerships to drive industry transformation.

This year’s theme, Building Resilient Futures, recognises this moment as both a reckoning and a renewal. It challenges the community to carefully consider where they fall on the resilience spectrum: rigid and resistant to change, or agile and actively adapting.

Against this complex and volatile backdrop, something powerful has emerged: a reinforced determination to build a reimagined future. Across the industry, the foundations for a net positive future are continuously taking shape through global circularity networks, material innovation, policy frameworks, new financing mechanisms, and data-driven accountability. These can be building blocks of a more resilient future.

True resilience demands evolution. It invites us to consider how fashion can regenerate itself in response to crisis, how business models can be redesigned to sustain people and planet in the long term, and how creativity can continue to thrive under constraint, not despite it. At Global Fashion Summit 2026, Global Fashion Agenda will explore these questions through the lens of resilience itself, connecting the theme to the tangible frameworks of the Fashion CEO Agenda’s five priorities: Respectful and Secure Work Environments; Better Wage Systems; Resource Stewardship; Smart Material Choices; and Circular Systems.

With over a 17-year foundation as the leading forum for sustainability in fashion, Global Fashion Summit is synonymous with the sustainability zeitgeist. In 2009, GFA recognised the importance of placing fashion firmly on the global sustainability agenda and first introduced the pioneering forum in Copenhagen as a COP15 side event. Since its inception, the Summit has established itself as an esteemed international forum on sustainability in fashion. Global Fashion Summit convenes major decision-makers from across the fashion ecosystem and has become the nexus for agenda-setting discussions and meetings on the most critical environmental, social, and ethical issues facing our industry and planet, all intended to spark urgent action and accelerate impact in the industry. Building on the impact of the landmark Summit in Copenhagen, the platform was developed to be hosted in additional key regions around the world, including Asia (Singapore) and North America (Boston).

The Global Fashion Summit: Copenhagen Edition 2026 will highlight the ideas and solutions shaping the future of fashion. The program brings together leading voices to explore how resilience can translate into concrete progress.
