Première Vision announced the inaugural Denim Première Vision in Tokyo, taking place from Sept. 9 to 10, 2026, at Yoyogi National Stadium – First Gymnasium, alongside Tranoï Tokyo.

After bringing together the international denim community across several European capitals throughout its history, notably Paris, Barcelona, London, Berlin, and Milan, Denim Première Vision continues its international momentum and will be held in Japan for the first time to present the Autumn/Winter 27-28 collections.

Designed as a deliberately selective format, this edition will bring together a curated selection of around twenty international exhibitors, offering a platform for meetings and business opportunities between key actors in the denim supply chain and the Japanese fashion ecosystem.

Japan occupies a unique place in the history and evolution of denim. Renowned for the precision of its craftsmanship, its textile innovations, and its emblematic techniques, from selvedge denim to traditional indigo dyeing, the country has become an international reference for premium brands and designers.

Hosting Denim Première Vision in Tokyo reflects the ambition of the GL events Fashion Division to strengthen connections between international denim players and Asian markets, to highlight Japan’s major role in the contemporary transformation of the industry, and to activate synergies between its two flagship brands: Première Vision and Tranoï.

“Since its creation, Denim Première Vision has supported the international denim community across various creative territories. With this special edition in Tokyo, we aim to create a new meeting point between key decision-makers in the industry and the particularly creative and dynamic Japanese fashion ecosystem," said Florence Rousson, president of the Executive Board of Première Vision and ceo of the GL events Fashion Division.

This edition will bring together a highly curated selection of companies representing different areas of expertise across the entire denim value chain and covers key stages of the value chain, from spinning to accessories and sustainable materials: denim manufacturers, innovative fabric producers, washing and finishing technology specialists, trims and accessories suppliers, companies developing innovative solutions in sustainability and new materials.

Expected visitors include Japanese and international fashion brands, designers, product development teams, merchandisers, buyers, OEM and ODM partners, as well as specialists in textile innovation and sustainability.

This edition of Denim Première Vision in Tokyo will be held alongside Tranoï Tokyo, the professional fashion trade show launched in Japan two years ago and organized in partnership with the Japan Fashion Week Organization. With an offer of 250 collections spanning ready-to-wear, accessories, and lifestyle, Tranoï Tokyo showcases the Spring-Summer 2027 season and brings together designers from Japan, Asia, and Europe, as well as buyers from Japan and across the wider Asian region.
While Tranoï Tokyo highlights the creativity and artistic identities of contemporary brands and designers, Denim Première Vision in Tokyo focuses on the industry’s upstream segment, from materials and components to technologies and industrial innovation. Held simultaneously, the two events will foster new synergies between creative vision and product development, bringing together designers, brands, manufacturers and innovators within a unified and forward-looking fashion ecosystem.
