Gran Canaria Swim Week, the fashion week dedicated to beachwear, strengthens its international positioning by renewing its strategic alliance with White Milano, the professional platform for contemporary brands and emerging fashion projects. The collaboration, now entering its second year, consolidates a stable channel of connection between Gran Canaria’s creative ecosystem and one of the fashion industry’s main international circuits. This initiative is part of the internationalisation strategy promoted by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria through the public sector support programme, Gran Canaria Moda Cálida, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Gran Canaria, with the aim of strengthening the international presence of the island’s brands and positioning Gran Canaria as a strategic hub for swimwear and resort fashion at an international level.

More than just a showcase, the area dedicated to GCSW will serve as a hub for dialogue and engagement with brands, the press, buyers, and opinion leaders. A decisive step to strengthen the project’s global visibility and create new opportunities for networking and business development.

As part of this collaboration, both entities will develop throughout 2026 a programme of promotional, networking, and international communication activities aimed at buyers, specialized press, and industry professionals. The agreement includes a specific international communication plan running between May and September, as well as the presence of Gran Canaria Swim Week at various highlights linked to White in Milan. Key events on the calendar include GCSW’s participation in the Press Conference and its presence in a dedicated corner, both during the On the beach powered by White Resort event, from June 18 to 20 at BASE Milano, and during White Milano, from September 24 to 27 in the Tortona District.

In addition, the collaboration will include dedicated exhibition spaces for Gran Canaria Swim Week and for Gran Canaria designer Elena Morales, winner of the GCSW 2025 Best Sustainable Collection Award, further reinforcing the international visibility of emerging talent linked to the island before international buyers, specialised media and key industry figures. The next edition of Gran Canaria Swim Week will take place from June 24 to 27 in Gran Canaria.
