10 Corso Como presents Viktor&Rolf. Spectrum, the first solo exhibition in Italy dedicated to the Dutch duo Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, is on view at the 10 Corso Como Gallery from September 25 to November 22, 2026. The exhibition follows the success of Yohji Yamamoto. Letter to the Future, which welcomed more than 20,000 visitors during its two-month run in 2024.

Viktor&Rolf in Milan: the first Italian retrospective at 10 Corso Como

10 Corso Como continues its exploration of the leading figures of the contemporary scene with two designers who have transformed haute couture into an extraordinary field of artistic experimentation. For more than thirty years, Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren have developed a practice that transcends the boundaries of couture, intersecting with contemporary art, performance and visual culture to create collections conceived as works in their own right, each rooted in an idea, a reflection or a provocation.

Defining themselves as Fashion Artists, the designers embrace a vision of fashion as a cultural language before being a product. Their work has played a pivotal role in redefining the imagery of contemporary couture, consistently challenging the conventions of fashion and its systems of representation. Their creations are now part of the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Kyoto Costume Institute, and have been featured in major solo exhibitions at the Barbican Art Centre, National Gallery of Victoria, Kunsthal Rotterdam, Kunsthalle München and, most recently, the High Museum of Art.

Initiated by Tiziana Fausti, the exhibition is part of 10 Corso Como’s renewed vision as a laboratory dedicated to contemporary language and is among the special projects marking the Milan concept store’s thirty-fifth anniversary. Created specifically for the Gallery spaces by the Maison Viktor&Rolf, the exhibition is curated by Alessio de Navasques, professor of Fashion Archives at Sapienza University of Rome and curator of the cultural programme at 10 Corso Como. Viktor&Rolf. Spectrum offers a new reading of the duo’s work through an exhibition conceived as a single large-scale installation.

What to see: the 20 iconic Haute Couture looks on display

Through a selection of twenty haute couture looks spanning more than three decades of the designers’ careers, the exhibition brings into dialogue some of Viktor&Rolf’s most iconic collections. Moving beyond a traditional chronological narrative, it highlights the continuities, returns and transformations that define their creative research. In doing so, the exhibition reveals the remarkable coherence of a creative language that, while constantly reinventing itself, remains faithful to a precise vision of fashion as an artistic practice.

The exhibition concept: mirrors and duality

The exhibition design revolves around the concepts of mirroring, reflection and correspondence. The looks are presented in pairs: not identical replicas but creations linked by formal affinities, variations and visual echoes that reflect Viktor&Rolf's design methodology, an approach rooted in the principle of duality. Working as a single creative entity, the two designers establish an ongoing connection between ideas and forms; likewise, each garment on display finds its counterpart in another, creating a network of relationships that unfolds throughout the exhibition.

More than a retrospective, Viktor&Rolf. Spectrum invites visitors into the creative laboratory of two of the most influential Fashion Artists on the international stage, offering a new perspective on the relationship between haute couture, art and contemporary imagination.
