Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana awards the most talented students from Italian fashion institutes with the 12th edition of Milano Moda Graduate.
The finalists presented their designs in a fashion show held at the Rotonda della Besana in Milan.

Matilde Bonechi Takes Home the Fashion Design Award

The Fashion Design Award went to Matilde Bonechi of Istituto Marangoni, who stood out among six finalists. The winner was selected by a distinguished international jury chaired by Luca Lisandroni (ceo & executive board member of Brunello Cucinelli SpA). The prestigious panel brought together key figures from across the global fashion industry, including Carlo Capasa (president, CNMI), Suzy Menkes, Sara Sozzani Maino, and leading executives, buyers, and editors from media brands.

YKK Italia Prize & Special Mentions

YKK Italia, main partner of the event, also participating in this edition with a dedicated section of the project, selected the project by Costanza Barbieri and Giulio Censori, IED – Istituto Europeo di Design, as the winner of the YKK Prize. The winner was chosen from the 10 finalist projects carried out by the 11 Fashion Design students from Italian fashion Institutes. The selected students created an outfit dedicated entirely to fastening accessories. The winner, who was awarded by Hideyuki Kubo, President of YKK Italia, will have the opportunity to participate in a one-week training programme at the YKK showroom in Shenzhen, China. In addition to the two prizes, a special mention was awarded to Corinne Zanini, IUAV Università di Venezia.

Empowering the Next Generation of Fashion Visionaries

Milano Moda Graduate represents a unique project showcasing the diverse professional talents that make up the fashion system. Once again this year, for the eighth consecutive year, Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana offered students a dedicated educational program to support them through the production phase of their collections. The program was further enriched by workshops and specialized consultations on key topics such as sustainability, production techniques, trends and international markets, merchandising, and digital communication.
