Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) and STORM, an influential name within international fashion, art, and culture renowned for its distinctive curation and global creative network, are joining forces in a new strategic collaboration, bringing together two established names in Danish fashion across commerce, media, culture, and international activations.
Beginning this autumn, the partnership will unfold across Copenhagen, Paris, and CIFF’s wider international network. After STORM closes its Copenhagen store, the collaboration marks a new chapter, exploring what STORM can become beyond a permanent physical store by bringing its approach to curation, discovery, and community into new settings and formats.
A Shared Vision for Curation, Media, and Retail
At the heart of the collaboration is a shared belief in the importance of community, physical retail, and considered curation. Over the years, STORM has established its Copenhagen store as an iconic destination within the industry, building a distinct identity through its ability to discover, curate, and bring together a relevant mix of brands while creating a meeting point for the wider fashion and creative community. The Storm family, including Rasmus, Line, and Anton Storm, will bring their network, expertise, and longstanding industry relationships into CIFF through a physical retail universe, brand collaborations, and an extensive editorial partnership with CIFF Media.
“The most exciting partnerships are the ones that challenge established ways of thinking. STORM has spent years redefining what a retailer can be, while CIFF is continuously evolving what a trade fair platform can become. This collaboration brings those ambitions together," said Sofie Dolva, director of CIFF.
“Closing the store was about making room for a new chapter... Working with CIFF allows us to do things the industry might not expect. We've always been drawn to the intersection between creativity and commerce," added Rasmus Storm, founder of STORM.
Key Milestones and Roadmap
The editorial collaboration will launch with three key formats: The Storm Sessions (personal conversations led by Rasmus Storm), Rasmus Storm x CIFF Media On Location, and CIFF Media: Follow the Storm. The collaboration will unfold across an international calendar:
— November 2026 (Kick-off in Copenhagen & Amsterdam): The official launch of the partnership, where the first brands involved in the STORM x CIFF project and a limited run of co-branded merchandise will be presented to an invited community of Nordic press and buyers.
— December 2026 (New York): The project travels to New York as part of CIFF x CUEVA, connecting the collaboration with CIFF’s growing programme of international retail partnerships.
— January 2027 (Paris): A physical and editorial presence within the CIFF Paris universe during Paris Fashion Week, bringing together selected brands, people and creative communities.
— February 2027 (CIFF 68 - Copenhagen): The unveiling of a dedicated, evolving modular retail universe within the fair. Designed as an evolving modular concept rather than a permanent store, the space will bring together selected brands, products, collaborations, and exclusive content.
Connecting B2B with B2C: From Wholesale to End Consumer
This initiative continues CIFF’s strategy of partnering with influential international retailers and concept stores, building on relationships with 10 Corso Como and CUEVA to create stronger connections between B2B and B2C. While CIFF remains rooted in bringing brands together with buyers, retailers and industry professionals, its expanding programme of partnerships, content, experiences and community-building initiatives creates opportunities for those relationships to extend further. By connecting brands not only with the people who buy and represent their collections, but also with the communities and end consumers around them, CIFF is building a more connected ecosystem across wholesale, retail, culture, and consumer engagement.
