The MARCEL DUCHAMP Prize was established by the Association pour la Diffusion Internationale de l’Art Français (ADIAF) in 2000 in order to promote French art on the world stage. This prize is awarded every year to a French (or French resident) artist working in visual or plastic arts. Its ambition is to gather the most innovative artists of their generation.
Organized in partnership with the Centre Pompidou and FIAC, the MARCEL DUCHAMP Prize is today among the most prestigious awards of the international art community. President of ADIAF Gilles Fuchs revealed on April the 7th at ARTCURIAL the names of the four artists selected for the MARCEL DUCHAMP Prize 2011.
