Fashion Week

From the 6th to the 18th Sepetmber 2011, 9 young talents will present their Spring/Summer 2012 collections at the Kumpanya 62 showroom.

The fashion consultation agency BERLINPIECES, in association with the International Deisgn Center Berlin (IDZ), has chosen to promote promising young designers within the framework of Istanbul Fashion Week.

So, Kilian Kerner, Adriana Rica, Karolin Kruger, von Bardonitz (image), Manikó, Moga e Mago, Gretchen, Julice en Rève and Berlin my Inspiration will exhibit and sell their collections at the Kumpanya 62 showroom. These designers will take part in the local Vogue's Fashion's Night Out event, taking place on the 16th September 2011. This trip will give them the opportunity to extend their network of contacts and their knowledge of the fashion industry in general. They will notably have access to the most important production studios of the city.

An opening evening will be held on the 7th September at the Kumpanya 62 showroom to celebrate the presentation of the collections. Numerous influential fashion personalities, from Istanbul's commerce and media will be there. Young Turkish designers will also visit the next Berlin Fashion Week, this in collaboration with the Turkish Embassy.

The event is sponsored by the European Regional Development Fund and by the city-state of Berlin.
