The former editor in chief of French Vogue has assembled a book, entitled ‘Irreverent’, due for release on October 18, 2011.

This 368-page volume is a visually documented retrospective of Carine Roitfeld’s 30-year career in fashion. Published by Rizzoli, ‘Irreverent’ features a selection of 250 magazine tear sheets and covers from pivotal cover shoots and editorials, alongside more intimate snapshots which offer glimpses into the stylist’s personal life. The book gives its reader an insight into Roitfeld’s creative vision and sensibility, demonstrating her penchant for breaking boundaries with her controversial, ofen subversive styling ideas.
