The 2,600-strong Jumex Collection is believed to be the largest contemporary art collection in private hands in Latin America.

The collection also includes work created in earlier decades by international artists that were important references and were greatly influential to contemporary artists. These include: Carl Andre, John Baldessari, Dan Flavin, Dan Graham, Donald Judd, On Kawara, Martin Kippenberger, Joseph Kosuth, Paul McCarthy, Bruce Nauman, Dieter Roth, Ed Ruscha and Andy Warhol.
