One of the 2010 alumni of the Antwerp Academy, fashion designer Cedric Jacquemyn has developed his darkly romantic menswear aesthetic into a ready-to-wear business, showcasing garments, jewelry and bags at the Paris and London fashion weeks.

Cedric's work is defined by a sensitive touch – sculpting natural fibers into slim, flowing garments imbued with historical and mythical significance.

Iceland is Cédric Jacquemyn’s most prominent source of inspiration, meticulously translated in his garments.
He manages to capture the blatant beauty and the emotions of ever-changing landscapes, consequences of destruction, and the life it creates - into every single piece he makes: translating the duality of serenity versus the power of nature.

In continuation of the previous collections, his SS2014 collection is inspired on the fading remains of ethnical tribes, their rituals and their beliefs.

Select pieces are available in Darklands (Berlin), Lift (Tokyo), Ink (Beijing), RA (Paris/Antwerp), J:Gallery (Shanghai) and Luisa via Roma (Firenze) amongst others…
