The Interieur Awards 2014 calls designers, architects, artists and creatives to submit their entries in two distinct categories:
Objects: create a new object that is relevant to our living environment and helps us improve daily life.
spaces: create a cutting-edge bar concept for the biennale INteRIeUR 2014.

The winners will receive maximum exposure during the Biennale Interieur, due to take place from 17 to 26 October 2014.

Anyone who thinks to have designed an as yet unpublished object which is not in production and that might contribute to an improvement in our daily environment, is welcome to take part in the ‘Objects’ category.
prize money - The Biennale Interieur npo will award the winning object a Grand Prize of 2,500 euro. The Grand Prize winner, together with 20 other winning entries chosen by the jury, will take centre stage in the Interieur Awards exhibition during the Biennale INTERIEUR 2014.

A second category, ‘Spaces’ was introduced in 2012 and now gains an extra dimension: the design – and for the five winners the execution – of one of the bars at the Biennale Interieur in the Kortrijk Xpo venue. Participants can choose to be supported by a design brand for this unique challenge, which guarantees high visibility during the Biennale, which reached over 84,000 visitors in 2012.
prize money - The jury will select five successful participants. The prize awarded to these winners consists of the realisation of their selected bar concept for a value of 10,000 euro per winner (a total of 50,000 euro for the five winners). Participants making use of a partnership with a brand can increase the 10,000 euro production budget with the value delivered by their partnering brand.
