The upcoming Fashion & Design Festival of Montreal, organized by the Sensation Mode Group, tapped Nathalie Rykiel as an Honorary President of the Festival's 2014 edition, held from August 20th to 23rd.

Every year, the 4-day event attracts more than half million visitors and this year's ambassador Nathalie Rykiel might help to boost these figures, as well as the Festival's reputation. Further reputed guests include fashion blogger and photographer Garance Doré, who was named Commissioner of the FDF Collections.

The Honorary President Nathalie Rykiel, daughter of fashion designer Sonia Rykiel, and founder of various branded concepts, such as RYKIEL ENFANT, SONIA RYKIEL MODERN VINTAGE and RYKIEL WOMAN, is also deeply involved in the literature and art scene. In 2010, she wrote the novel Tu seras une femme, ma fille and published the fashion book L’Élégance in 2013, which will be presented during the event, with a lecture followed by a book signing.
