On June 19th and 20th the reputed École de La Chambre Syndicale de la couture parisienne opened its doors to experts and amateurs in order to present the work of 31 graduate students.

The exhibition started with an installation of white outfits displayed in the school's basement, which immediately revealed the sophisticated construction of the pieces. On the 1st and 4th floor, the students recreated their own creative dimensions with personalized displays that presented their inspirations, and thus let the visitors enter straight into the mood of their collections. The set design was realized by Martine Sitbon, ambassador of the event, in collaboration with Goliath Dyèvre.

L'École de La Chambre Syndicale allowed the students to showcase three outfits plus one try-out, all executed with the most careful attention to details and traditional artisan techniques, for which the school is reputed on an international level. Elie Baroud, Fumiko Yoneda, Shibo Li and Hong Jun Chen are some of the talented graduate students who came from all around the world to study at the renowned French school. Among them might be the star-designer of tomorrow, such as Kenta Matsuhige, a former La Chambre student who recently won the Grand Prix at the 2014 Hyères Festival.

The Master degree of fashion design and pattern making (4th year) has been established in 2010, under the direction of Sidney Toledano and Didier Grumbach. It promotes creativity and prepares the students to embrace the fashion industry. With its outstanding reputation and high standards, L'École de La Chambre Syndicale continues to shapes the designers of the future today, as it did in the past.
