The first "temporary Centre Pompidou" will settle down in spring, 2015 in the city of Málaga.

This "Centre Pompidou Málaga" will become established for a duration of five years in Cubo, a building with cultural vocation set up as 2013 and adapted in 2014 to host Centre Pompidou, situated on the marina of the city.
It will suggest to the widest public experiencing the Centre Pompidou through the wealth of his collection, the excellence of his programming, the crossing of the artistic disciplines, the innovation of his programs of mediation.

This concept completely takes advantage of the experiment, the innovations and the success of mobile Centre Pompidou, the experimental project which travelled in France, from October, 2011 till September, 2013, gathering 250 000 visitors. Temporary Centres Pompidou pursue the initiative of cultural decentralization embodied by the mobile Centre Pompidou while establishing the spearhead of the international development of the institution.
