Located at the 22 rue Debelleyme, right in the heart of the trendy 'Haut Marais' district in Paris, Jean Colonna's flagship store is making an ode to minimalism with a industrial twist.

The architect, {Patrick Bouchain, turned a former gallery into an elegant retail space with concrete floors and a mirrored ceiling, which reflects the designer's collection that is hanging from bare metal racks. Famous in the 90's for his punk-inspired style, Jean Colonna changed direction through the years and opted for more essential wardrobe pieces, that gracefully flatter the body, without loosing the edginess that makes for his signature style. The retail selection is supposed to change every 10 days, offering different variations of the designer's stand-out pieces, which include 100 percent cashmere tank tops done by Nepalese artisans, as well as lightweight ponchos and faux-fur coats. After going on a sabbatical in 2003, Colonna started working on various projects, such as his capsule line for Morgan, and his limited edition collection named "Edition 0", which was showcased in pop-up stores (at the Galerie Joyce, among others).
