Looking for some off-schedule art events during the 2014 edition of Frieze London? ICA’s off-site program is just what you need.

In fact, the Institute of Contemporary Arts organizes a week-long free program of live events at The Old Selfridges Hotel during the contemporary art fair London. Encompassing performance, music, art, dance and discussion, the program features various performances, and a a series of panel discussion presented in collaboration with Rhizome.

For this occasion, the Brooklyn-based dance artist and curator Isabel Lewis will present a series of ‘occasions’ in partnership with Frieze Projects and the Liverpool Biennial on October 14th and 15th. The series conjure the ancient Greek symposium where philosophizing, drinking and the erotic were inseparable.

In addition, New York-based artist Korakrit Arunanondcha will present an evening performance featuring boychildAJ Gvojic. On Friday night, the focus will be on music with a live event presented in collaboration with the ICA’s Associate Artists NTS Radio. Saturday will see Siobhan Davies Dance present the live movement installation, Table of Contents.

This live-program will occupy the vast first floor of The Old Selfridges Hotel, a cavernous industrial raw space, situated on Orchard Street directly above the Selfridges Food Hall.
