One year after Ann Demeulemeester’s departure from her eponymous brand, Rizzoli released a monograph that celebrates the Belgian fashion designer. Written by Ann Demeulemeester herself, with an additional introduction by musician Patti Smith, the monograph was released on October 14th in the USA. According to Rizzoli, this publication represents the first and highly personal retrospective of Ann Demeulemeester's work. The book includes 1000 exclusive archive photographs, which illustrate the history of the brand since its inception, unveiling a bit of the mystery that is often associated with the designer's personality.
