Dominique Savard, Co-Founder of the fashion school l’Atelier Chardon Savard, was named Chevalier of the National Order of the Legion of Honour in France.
Having studied and taught at the school Duperré in Paris, Dominique Savard worked as a fashion designer both in France and abroad, before founding the fashion school {l Atelier Chardon Savard in 1988, together with with Cyrille Chardon.
For the past 27 years, during which she has been the school’s pedagogical director, she has trained over 2,500 students, and defended the values of fashion design, conveyed by the French expertise. {"The values that the French stand for, in addition to those of democracy, are those of fashion design and luxury fashion companies which consider creativity to be a core value leading to success. Both, Alexis and Adrien Martial Caillaudaud, the designer-duo at the helm of Carven, and Tsolo Munkh, who was awarded at the 2010 edition of Hyères Festival, have studied at the reputed French fashion school..
