"TRAFFIC will bring together the best fashion sector specialists who will present solutions and innovations for you," enthuses Priscilla Jokhoo, Trade-Show Director of the new Parisian event dedicated to fashion professionals.

And indeed, Mrs Jokhoo has got plenty of good reasons to be optimistic: the inaugural edition of the newly founded TRAFFIC event, a trade-show for fashion brand services — the first of its kind — which is organized by the Fédération Française du Prêt à Porter Féminin with support from DEFI, will gather 80 exhibitors, who will showcase their businesses in 6 different zones at the Carreau du Temple on November 4th and 5th, and impress with an additional program of 12 conferences and 24 country workshops. In fact, the trade-show has been designed to match the taste and needs of any fashion brand — womenswear, menswear, children's wear, accessories, lingerie and leather goods included.

TRAFFIC’s ultimate aim is not only to create another common fashion trade-show, but to push the boundaries of the traditional trade-show structure by bringing together French and international fashion experts, premium organizations and fashion service providers, in order to cultivate and share business ideas and professional solutions — a place which facilitates business opportunities and promotes the international fashion network, where potential partners can be found and business challenges can be discussed.

In this context, the TRAFFIC trade-show will be divided into 6 different zones — Export, Business Management & Finance, Supply Chain, Commerce & Retail, Marketing & Communication, Innovation, as well as a New Business zone dedicated to up-and-coming fashion start-ups — and will gather 80 international exhibitors mainly from Europe, North America, East and Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

In addition, throughout the 2-day trade-show, 11 selected conferences will give precious insights into the current challenges that fashion brands have to face. Subjects are as polyvalent as they are challenging, and include hot topics of the moment, such as fashion and connected objects: what are the implications?, the power of images and photos in the social networks, and evolutions in retail, among many others. Finally, the so-called Country Workshops will focus on the analysis of retail and market specifics of 13 countries, which were identified as apparel sector priorities. Market experts will therefore share their experiences in small working groups of 10 people and discuss goals, challenges and expectations of the respective markets.
