Last month, Arcari & Co. took back ownership of Ter et Bantine and Hache, which marks the end of GFM Industria S.p.A.’s arrangement with creditors. The two brands were under a leasing agreement but with a commitment to proceed to a full purchase.
Manuela Arcari is now back at the creative helm of both Ter et Bantine and Hache, and will reveal her new collections during the Fall/Winter 2016-17 season.
Established by Manuela Arcari, creative director and founder of Ter et Bantine and her husband David Agus, Arcari & Co. is a limited liability company that the two entrepreneurs set up in 2015, after Manuela Arcari’s departure from Ter et Bantine in May 2014. Arcari & Co.’s ultimate goal is to re-launch the brands with an emphasis on market position, stylistic value and quality, while preserving the creative, productive, industrial and commercial know-how that Manuela Arcari and her husband have established for the past 30 years.
Manuela Arcari will preserve her position as a design consultant for Collection Privée, working alongside Massimo Bizzi. Likewise, David Agus will remain Robiz’s commercial consultant.
