FRANCE / Paris: 8 finalists of the LVMH prize

41 international experts including fashion editor Carine Roitfeld, co-founder of Buro 24/7 Miroslava Duma and Founder & CEO of Business of fashion Imran Amed have seen the collections and met designers of LVMH prize during Paris Fashion Week. The showroom with 23 semi-finalists took place on 2nd and 3rd of March at LVMH headquarters located at avenue Montagne.

Delphine Arnaud, director and executive vice-president of Louis Vuitton, declared: “With 3 brands of 8 finalists based in Paris, this reflects the vitality of French fashion scene and its attraction for the international designers. Among them, Koché was already the semi-finalist last year and I’m very happy that there is also a Japanese designer for the first time.”

The jury composed of artistic directors of LVMH group brands including Karl Lagerfeld, Riccardo Tisci and Marc Jacobs will choose the winner on 16th of June and recompense him by a grant of €300.000 and a personalized assistance from LVMH teams for twelve months.

The application is still opened for the Graduate Prize which giving an opportunity to become a part of LVMH design teams for one year in addition to the grant of €10.000. The closing date is the 15th of May 2016.
