The Council of Fashion Designers of America has announced the nominees for CFDA Fashion Awards and the names of the personalities for the Award.

- The International Award to Alessandro Michele, the creative director of Gucci.
- The Founder’s Award in honor of Eleanor Lambert to Donna Karan.
- Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award to Norma Kamali.
- The Media Award in honor of Eugenia Shepherd to Imran Amed, founder and CEO of The Business of Fashion.
- The Board of Directors’ Special Tribute to memory of David Bowie.

The nominees for the CFDA Fashion Awards - Designer Of The Year :
WOMENSWEAR - Joseph Altuzarra, Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler : Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, Rodarte : Kate and Laura Mulleavy, The Row : Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen.
MENSWEAR - Public School : Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, Rag&Bone : Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, Tim Coppens, Thom Browne, Todd Snyder.
ACCESSORIES - Joseph Altuzzarra, Irene Neuwirth, Mansur Gavriel : Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel, Proenza Schouler : Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, The Row : Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen.

The nominees for the Swarovski Award
WOMENSWEAR - Monse : Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, Brandon Maxwell, Ryan Roche.
MENSWEAR - Gypsy Sport : Rio Uribe, John Elliott, Orley : Alex Orley, Matthew Orley and Samantha Orley.
ACCESSORIES - Brother Vellies : Aurora James, Gigi Burris, Paul Andrew.

The award ceremony will take place on Monday 6th June at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.
