Picture :''The Shit Evolution, objects made of “merdacotta” —a terracotta derived from cow dung. Curated by the “Museo della Merda” and conceived by Luca Cipelletti., won the award for the most interesting installation of Milan design week.

The international jury of the 6th edition of Milan Design Award (devised and coordinated by Elita/Enjoy Living Italy in collaboration with Fuorisalone.it and Istituto Europeo di Design) - presided this year by Antonio Marras (fashion designer) and Alberto Nespoli (art director of Eligo) - has awarded the Milanese architect Luca Cipelletti with the following motivation : “For the story of a great complexity and innovation, able to destabilize the common perception. The didactic course undermines all the academic stereotypes to propose relevant sensory experience that promotes a new vision of design culture”

The award - a sculpture of a little horse, the mythical ‘Sleipnir Troll Mini’ made by Italian artist Dulio Forte - has been assigned by Cristina Tajani, Economic Development, Fashion and Design Council Member of Comune di Milano, Alberto Nespoli and Domenico Rocca of Eligo, winners of Milano Design Award 2015 - on the stage of the Teatro di IED Moda.

BEST PEOPLE’S CHOICE (a new award category by Fuorisalone.it): Kukan - Panasonic of Shuichi Furumi, Masao Ochiai
