Mercedes-Benz is the Fashion Week partner worldwide for 20 years and tends to be even more involved in the young french creation. Mercedes-Benz and Alexis Mabille create in 2016 a new contest dedicated to young fashion designers named 'Les Etoiles'.

30 designers have been selected by Alexis Mabille, who insures the jury presidency, and Mercedes-Benz to give free rein to their creativity and imagine 3 looks. Designers got to inspire themselves from the visual identity (from materials to symbols) that define Mercedes-Benz. On June 29, 10 designers will be selected among the 30, and revealed.

On the occasion of the next Paris Women Fashion Week SS17, all these creations will be presented in Paris to journalists on October 4th 2016, the winner will be announced by the jury during this party. The price is a grant of 15.000€, as well as a support by Mercedes-Benz.

The MB Competition reveals 6 jury’s members, dedicated to young fashion designers, composed by a panel of fashion professionals and fans:
- Alexis Mabille - Jury's president
- Béatrice Tanguy - Fashion projects supervisor and marketing director for Mercedes-Benz cars
- Alexandra Golovanoff - Journalist and tv host
- Jalil Lespert - Actor, film director and Mercedes-Benz ambassador
- Audrey Marnay - Model and actress
- Vanessa Metz - Stylist and fashion writer
- Betony Vernon - Designer
