Mifur and Mipap togheter for a new and exiting trade show project. [red]The One Milano[/red], born from the union of the knowhow and experience of Mipap, the prêt-à-porter show organised by Fiera Milano, and Mifur, the fur and leather show, will kick off in February (from 24 to 27, during fashion week) and will be held on a half-yearly basis.

The first edition, curated by Ente Fieristico Mifur, will be an unmissable event on the international fashion show calendar and will be held in pavilions 3 and 4 of Fieramilanocity, involving over 300 companies.

Following the announcement of Pitti Immagine Super regarding the new partnership with CNMI - National Chamber of the Italian Fashion and the relocation from Fieramilanocity spaces to The Mall in Porta Nuova, the two trade shows are ready to bet on the new format, which offers different interpretations of contemporary value and high fashion, focusing on the quality of the product, the guarantees of the tailoring, the style and the provenance of the collections.

“It is an excellent example for the fashion show system”, commented Corrado Peraboni, CEO of Fiera Milano. “We have decided to optimise our resources to create synergies between two highly distinctive events to give further impetus to business development. Among other things, this agreement fits with the process of streamlining the trade fair system as promoted by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development”.

Norberto Albertalli, chairman of Mifur, asserts that [red]The One Milano[/red] will succeed in bringing out the unique features of the individual shows, which were previously separated. Furthermore, Albertalli highlighted the relevance of the event every six months: “Until now Mifur presented the various collections only during its winter edition but in reality over a third of its exhibitors also prepare summer collections and they had strongly requested a half-yearly event”.

In view of the new synergy, September 2016 edition of MIPAP will be canceled.
