The [size=14][red]Copenhagen Fashion Week[/red][/size] is a fashion week, dedicated to fashion professionals, that is held twice a year in January/February and August. It is one of the largest returning event in Denmark and by far the largest fashion event in the Nordic Region. Copenhagen Fashion Week is the official organization behind fashion week in Copenhagen and is a subsidiary of Danish Fashion Institute.

The focal points of Copenhagen Fashion Week are the fashion shows and the trade fairs, which attract buyers and press from all over the globe. The fairs [red]CIFF[/red], [red]Revolver[/red], [red]CIFF Raven[/red], [red]CIFF Kids[/red] and 30-40 shows of Copenhagen Fashion Week exhibit collections from more than 2,500 Danish and international fashion brands and each season they attract more than 30,000 visitors.

In addition to this, the schedule contains more than 100 other events, ranging from parties to exhibitions and showrooms.

The [size=14][red]Copenhagen Fashion Festival[/red][/size], established in 2008, is held at the same time as the Copenhagen Fashion Week, biannually in February and August. Along with the Fashion Week, the festival is as well one of the largest fashion related event in Denmark.

The festival opens the fashion week to the public and invites everyone to a week of activities and events in the shops and streets of Copenhagen, including shopping events, cultural events, exhibitions, debates, concerts, fashion shows and parties.

In collaboration with the [size=14][red]City of Copenhagen[/red][/size] and a wide range of partners, the festival creates life in the urban spaces and makes the city buzzing with fashion twice a year. It has unique access to the most important hubs, including the City Hall Square, Nytorv, Højbro Plads, Kultorvet and Vor Frue Plads.

The venues in the city are activated as a part of the festival and every summer Nytorv is transformed into the epicenter of the festival with an array of fashion related activities.
