The strong growth and international recognition for Dutch Fashion has encouraged the Consulate to create the NFA with the goal of recruiting, celebrating and rewarding Dutch excellence and creativity within the fashion industry.

Over 40 designers have applied to compete in two categories: Mens/Womens RTW and Accessories.

Deanna Ferretti, Entrepreneur and knitwear expert
Giuseppe Angiolini, Founder/Owner Boutique Sugar and former president of the Italian buyer association
Marpessa Hennink, Dolce&Gabbana Haute Couture Ambassador and Dutch top model
Roberta Valentini, Founder/Owner of Penelope Store - Brescia

The 22nd of September, during a special cocktail reception at Park Hyatt in Milan, the judging panel chose as winners:

Accessories: Cat Priem

A tailormade program, including an introduction to prominent Milanese showrooms, will be organized for the winners giving them the opportunity to show their collections to Italian and international top fashion insiders.
