[size=14][red]MADE[/red][/size], that began in 2009 to counter the impact of economic recession on the fashion industry and designers, announced the inaugural season of [size=14][red]MADE Sydney[/red][/size], continuing the platform’s expansion beyond New York City, from the 11th to the 13th of November. It will connect fashion to sports, drawing inspiration from Sydney’s unique creative culture.

The kick-off of the event will be given with the world premiere of [grey] The High Life: Slim Aarons [/grey], a new documentary produced by M2M, about the life and work of photographer Slim Aarons. He described his style as “photographing attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places”.

On day 2, the Faith Connexion collective will debut its first-ever fashion show and co-design a replica of famed skateboard spot Hubba Hideout, which will be used as a runway. The Hubba Hideout runway will also serve as the focal point of Sydney’s first ever Style + Skate amateur competition.

The event will also feature a retail component called The Stores, making the collections and products of numerous brands readily available for consumers. As part of the [size=14][red]WME | IMG[/red][/size] portfolio, a global leader in entertainment, sports and fashion operating in more than 30 countries, MADE is a global platform that makes fashion more accessible and connects visionary brands to the creative vanguard.
