The specifics of the building project of a Guggenheim in the reserve of Urdaibai begin to emerge. The intention is to set up in Gernika the great exhibitions that the Bilbao museum can’t shelter.

The museum would have a 5000 m2 surface, five times as much as the museum of Bibao ; and the architecture would have to fit in the landscape, the reserve of Urdaibai being protected area.

The new museum could be completed in 2013 or 2014.
