Monica Sarti implements the project MonniFacemask, masks made by cutting out scarves from the collection Faliero Sarti, as a result each article becomes unique and unrepeatable.

Monica Sarti: In such a delicate moment when everything is suspended and still...in which we are all masked and without expression on our mouths...I wanted to give a joyful and less dramatic touch to the time we live in...playing with what unfortunately will come into our everyday use...for a long time.
So I thought of turning my scarves with all their fantasies into something to have always with us...with a touch of color...and positivity. I took our cotton and silk scarves and we paired them with non-woven fabric according to the required standards...
At the moment we had to use the materials we had available...
Soon the masks from Italy will come out ...with as many scarves and with messages of positivity and strength..."

Part of the proceeds of the sales of MonniFacemask will be donated to the association MONTEDOMINI of Florence for the care and assistance of the elderly.
