Gore Tex aims to reduce carbon emissions by 60% by 2030.

Technical textile supplier Gore-Tex has announced a new sustainability plan which includes carbon reduction goals. It includes a science-based target to reduce carbon emissions in Gore’s manufacturing sites by 60 per cent by 2030.

«We believe that we have a responsibility to protect people and the planet with our business conduct and products. This is why we set ourselves ambitious goals throughout the value chain, " says Jacques René, head of Fabrics Division of Gore.

Gore-Tex Brand belongs to W.L Gore & Associates Company and is in the Outdoor Industry Association (Oia) for many years, which is collaborating to lead on climate action through the Climate Action Corps.

The Company is involved reducing every potential harmful substance such.
Its goal to become carbon neutral by 2050.
