From 23 October to 3 November 2020 Tokyo celebrates Design, Art and Creativity.

For 12 days Tokyo will turn into an open-air museum, with installations, works, events, exhibitions, with over 100 exhibitors from around the world.

This year's emotions are the focus of the theme, that will clarify the identity of the artistic design movements and show works centered on this information to people interested in an "Emotion".
Designart Tokyo's aim is to generate a contemporary version of the arts and crafts movement, which took place in the UK in the 19th century. Just as it valued the return to indigenous nature and culture for the purpose of realizing artistic life, the event also aims to change society through our approaches.

The event will be held both in physical and digital form, with presentations, conferences and Speakers that will include Performer Amon Miyamoto, Director of Mori Art Museum Mami Kataoka, Japanese architects Sou Fujimoto and Kazuyo Sejima, designer Akira Minagawa, media artist Yoichi Ochiai.

For the first time, even Studio Pepe brings its Made in Italy design through video installation, called Desiderio.
Daniel Kamp, Petit Bateau, Flexform, Rolf Benz, Uniqlo, and many famous and emerging designers and artists will show their works on the streets and buildings of Tokyo.
The REBOOT headquarters will be JASMAC AOYAMA, the architectural work of Aldo Rossi, which boasts an avant-garde expression seen in Italian postmodern design.

"Through our sustainable activities, we aim to enrich the quality of life, as well as spread the word Designart, as a term to explain design and art at the same level, not only nationally but also internationally", said the organizers of Designart Tokyo.
