The fair hosts group and individual exhibitions from participating galleries, as well as special projects, including a series of off-site installations, artist video screenings, and a cycle of performances and conversations.
Asia Now was founded by Alexandra Fain and her father, the Parisian art dealer and collector Claude Fain.
For its sixth edition in 2020, Asia Now took a two-format approach, in-person and online. An online platform will operate in parallel, through the Ocula Observation Rooms which will end on November 7.
For the Asia Now Online Platform section on Ocula, around 32 galleries will present their works; Among them, galleries appearing for the first time at Asia Now including Almine Rech, Perrotin, Templon, Nathalie Obadia, Cahiers d'Art and Jeanne Bucher Jaeger. Other galleries will be presented exclusively in the online format. The works will be broadcast online in high resolution, along with texts.
