Between march 5 and 9th at Galery Eof, the atelier X-SEED of Vantan Design Institute ’s incubation program for graduates, presented the exhibition Vantan Tokyo for the second time.
atelier X-SEED and Vantan Design Institute have created Vantan Tokyo to highlight the importance of establishing international contacts and getting visibility outside Japan for young Japanese designers. Thus, they would learn how to convey their design concepts to an international audience. Vantan Design Institute is a Japanese design school founded in 1965, now encompassing 7 campuses across Japan, specializing in the following areas : fashion, make-up, graphic design, interior design, and filmmaking. atelier X-SEED is an incubation program founded in 2008 and managed by Vantan Design Institute. It aims at introducing and supporting graduated fashion designers in Japan first then worldwide. The brands AGURI SAGIMORI, KINO.., lessthan*, nude: masahiko maruyama, SHIROMA, TAGO and KOTSU-KOTSU was present in on the Showroom Vantan.
<sld(vantan)|right>For this second edition of the atelier X-SEED in Paris, the institute has teamed with Takahiro Komatsu, who has many years experience in fashion events management, to act as artistic director. Japanese artist Ikumi Nakada has also collaborating with the designers of the exhibition.
