The eleventh edition of Labelhood at Shanghai Fashion Week

Shanghai Fashion Week started on April 6 with over 100 runways for both Chinese fashion designers and brands as well as overseas labels, will present their fall winter 2021 collections.

The location for established brands is the famous city landmark Xiantindi, but several young Chinese designers will showcase with Labelhood, the independent platform and incubator for young Chinese and Asian talents. The platform will return to the Tank Shanghai museum, a multifunctional cultural hub in West Bund area, and take place during Shanghai Fashion Week.

The eleventh edition of Labelhood will divide the selected designers into five groups highlighting one group a day from April 7 to 11.

Newcomers from Labelhood’s incubation project Youtopia will join the schedule, including Anno Mundi, Fivekoh, Momonary, Sorgenti, and Toile. Louis Shengtao Chen, Ponder.er Peng Tai, VII Victor x Wang, Club_Cylinder, Fabric Porn, and Dumpty will also be making their fashion week debuts this season.

Emerging Chinese designers with worldwide visibility like Shushu/Tong, Angel Chen, Rui, Yuhan Wang, Private Policy, and Yueqi Qi will also return to showcase their fall 2021 collections with local names such as Yirantian, Roaringwild, Oude Waag, Yingpei Studio, Jacques Wei, Superr, Umamiism Oyster, and Swaying/knit.
