To strengthen Düsseldorf as a fashion location and support the retail trade in the city, in the post-pandemic period, the Düsseldorf economic development corporation created the new concept of the Düsseldorf Fashion Days, a festival dedicated to fashion which will take place from July 21 to 28, 2021.

"This is a fashion and lifestyle festival for the city, during which retail, gastronomy, culture, and the creative industries will take part. The festival creates an opportunity to developing the business in summer, thanks to a series of events, such as pop-up stores, exhibitions, film, and concert evenings. The DFD Festival Edition also addresses and focuses on sustainability and innovation, relevant topics for business and consumers," said Theresa Winkels, head of the economic development office.

In the same month, will also take place Frankfurt Fashion Week, from July 5 to 9, 2021, through a digital platform called FFW Studio, Messe Frankfurt.
