The 4th Fashion Prize Of Tokyo winner

FASHION PRIZE OF TOKYO selects and rewards a Tokyo-based fashion designer with a confirmed professional background and whose new project is recognized as a promising one..
On September 1, 2021 during Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo (August 30-September 4) the 4th Fashion Prize Of Tokyo was presented to Yusuke Takahashi, founder and creative director of CFCL brand.

Born in Tokyo in 1985. After graduating from Bunka Fashion Graduate University, he joined Miyake Design Studio in 2010, and was appointed as designer for Issey Miyake Men's in 2013, leading the team for six years. After leaving the company in 2020 he established CFCL.

3 concepts are expressed in Takahashi's collections.
- Sophistication: Effortless design for everyday occasions and high-quality Japanese yarn
- Consciousness: Responsible materials & Minimum waste and local and transparent supply chain
- Comfort and Easy-care: Washable at home and quick dry

In order to encourage the development of his new brand, the fashion show and sales campaigns FW 2022 & SS 2023 of the award-winning designer's collection will be held during Paris Fashion Week in January (men) or March (women) 2022 and during that of June (men) or October (women) 2022.
Also an event will be dedicated to the award-winning designer during Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo of March 2022
