Asvoff 13 - A Shaded View on Fashion Film, unveils 2021 lineup of the 13th edition.
The world's first film festival dedicated to fashion, style, and beauty, founded by the fashion critic and video journalist Diane Pernet, will be held from December 1 to 3, 2021 at 35-37 rue des Francs-Bourgeois 75004

"Despite the tumultuous time, rather than feeling compromised, filmmakers are navigating their potentialities through introspection, stimulating their creativity, self-awareness and pushing others to harness their highs and lows or straddle extremes like claustrophobic silhouettes and epic Eden-like landscapes," said Diane Pernet, founder of Asvoff.

The three-day program will feature over 80 films in competition, including four themed award curations: sustainability activism; fashion moves in societal changes; digital fashion, and black spectrum, the representation of black people in cinema.

The 2021 jury composed of renowned artists, designers, content creators who are committed to encouraging new talent and promoting diversity across the world of filmmaking, and headed by the International acclaimed film director Bruce LaBruce, will include Daphne Guinness; Lulu Kennedy, founder and director of London-based fashion showcase Fashion East; Sara Sozzani Maino, Vogue Italia deputy editor and head of Vogue Talents; influencer Bryanboy; dj Pam Hogg, among others.

Thanks to a partnership with fashion news and lifestyle network, FNL Network, the broadcast short films in competition will allow an audience of over 64 million people as part of the Public Choice Prize, which can be viewed on some digital TV services such as Apple TV, Google Play store Mobile & Tablet, Amazon Fire TV.
