The new edition of Milan Fashion Week, which is running from February 22 to 28, present a rich calendar showcasing a total of 190 events with 69 physical fashion shows of which 60 physical and 9 digital, 101 presentations (86 physical and 15 digital), 8 presentations by appointment and 12 events.

The debut of Matthieu Blazy at Bottega Veneta and of Trussardi under the creative direction of Serhat Işık and Benjamin A. Huseby of GmbH is joined by the return of Diesel, Gucci, and Plein Sport.
In addition, the week’s schedule is enriched by a number of brands present for the first time in the Milano Fashion Week Women’s Collection calendar: AC9, Ambush, Andreadamo, Aniye Records, Capasa Milano, Cormio, Ferrari, Han Kjøbenhavn, Husky, Palm Angels, and Tokyo James.

Giorgio Armani returns to the physical format, after canceling Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani brands' live fashion shows in January.

Presentations include the collaboration between Max&Co. with Efisio Rocco Marras, Weekend Max Mara “Habito” project by Patricia Urquiola, and the Balestra brand's new course.

Among the events scheduled this season, the Bulgari B.Zero1 Aurora Awards organized by Bulgari and Vogue Italia at the Bocconi University, and the special screening of the documentary, “Elio Fiorucci - Free Spirit” at the Triennale Milano, part of the official programme of the eighth edition of Fashion Film Festival Milano.

In line with the path outlined in these past few years, Cnmi-Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana gives even more space to the topic of promoting emerging talents, with a set of initiatives focused on giving visibility to the new generation of Italian and international designers. In this context Maison Valentino and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana have partnered on an initiative that each season will allow an emergent brand to present its collection on the Valentino’s Instagram channel. Marco Rambaldi is the first designer chosen for the project, whose show will be held on February 23.

The support to young talents also extends to the world of photography. Italy’s Camera della Moda has selected from the PhotoVogue platform - launched by Vogue Italia in 2011, now a global reality committed to researching and supporting talent in the field of visual arts - the photographer Eleonora d’Angelo, who took the picture of the new communication campaign of Milano Fashion Week Women’s Collection, featuring five models in outfits by the brands Quira, AC9, Des_Phemmes, Tokyo James and ATXV, with styling by Roberta Pinna, at the Villa Necchi Campiglio, which belongs to the Italian Fai (National Trust of Italy).

Inclusivity and sustainability are however the main focus of the projects hosted by the Fashion Hub, which will be inaugurated on 22 February in a new location in the ADI Design Museum (Piazza Compasso d’Oro 1, entrance Via Ceresio 7). Among the projects hosted by the Fashion Hub there is the We Are Made in Italy format, which aims to highlight Black designers by giving them an international visibility. The designers are Sheetal Shah, Judith Borsetto, Nyny Ryke Goungou, Zineb Hazim, Romy Calzad.
