Launched in 2018, East London-based jewelry label Sweetlimejuice is a demi-fine fashion jewelry brand founded by London College of Fashion graduates Simpson Ma and Jovy Hon, both originally from Hong Kong. The brand creates pieces of jewelry with a distinctive touch on traditional techniques.
 
All of Sweetlimejuice's pieces are handcrafted by artisans across the capital and mainly from sustainable sources. Each stage of the process is analytical and meticulous, from the use of sustainable sterling silver to the sourcing of ethical gemstones.

The need for innovation and re-interpretation of traditional handcrafting techniques is the focus of the brand. The result of its work is unique and gender-fluid pieces, which reflect contemporary luxury.

Designer Simpson Ma studied fashion jewelry at the London College of Fashion, during which he won the Swarovski Innovator Competition 2017, the submission for which was the first iteration of the “stone swaddling” method.
