New openings: luxury stores and pop-ups worldwide.

Balenciaga, London
The luxury house Kering-owned Balenciaga has opened the doors to its new London flagship, situated on New Bond Street, one of the main shopping streets of the English capital. Designed according to the Balenciaga’s “Raw Architecture” concept, the store on the corner of New Bond and Conduit Streets is arranged over three floors and measures over 710 square meters. Projected by the art director Niklas Bildstein Zaar in tandem with the architect Andrea Faraguna of the Berlin studio Sub, the store combines high-tech architecture with an urban environment. The new space houses women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, accessories, eyewear, and jewelry.

Giorgio Armani, Rodeo Drive
The Armani Group has reopened the Giorgio Armani boutique in Los Angeles, at 436 North Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills following a complete makeover. The store which was first opened by Giorgio Armani himself in August 1988, aims to consolidate the boutique's status as a landmark for international celebrities and to highlight Giorgio Armani's strong relationship with the world of film and music. The 854 square meters of floor space located on the city’s main luxury shopping street, represents one of the brand's largest retail spaces. The storefront, with a central entrance and two large side windows, was updated with a decorative motif recalling the city's symbol palm trees on the upper part of the glass façade. The store is divided into themed rooms that lead the visitor through a fluid itinerary. For the first time in an Armani boutique, also on this first floor, there is a room dedicated entirely to made-to-order women.

Borsalino, Montecarlo
Borsalino opened a new flagship store inside the Metropole shopping in Monte Carlo, one of the most important complexes in the Monaco districts, located on Avenue des Spélugues. Overlooking the gallery with two windows, the boutique occupies an area of 35 square meters hosting collections of hats, caps, and accessories.

Borbonese, Germany
From March to May 2022, the historic leather goods and clothing brand, founded in Turin in 1910, opens a pop-up tour in the department stores of the KaDeWe Group. Borbonese presents its collection inside the department stores Oberpollinger, KaDeWe, and Alsterhaus, in Monaco, Berlino, and Amburgo. The spaces are installations of tubes in blue, seats in polycarbonate with a satin aluminum finish, and colored details hosting a selection of Borbonese spring-summer 2022 bags, including the Strapcycle shopper, the protagonist of an important upcycling project, and the iconic 110 mini.
