British label A-Cold-Wall has opened its first store in China, located in Beijing’s Taikoo Li Sanlitun shopping district. The new store will host a series of garments alongside exclusive launches and multi-sensory events.

Influenced by Samuel Ross’ aesthetic, the space mixes modern and industrial styles, and was designed in a primary volt blue with cuts of silver and white. Other design details are brushed steel walls, concrete flooring, fabric covered bespoke seating, a soft display carpet, an edge-to-edge Led lightbox ceiling and Led signage. The store will house the Fall 2022 collection of the brand.

The London-based label is making its foray into the Chinese market with the help of Tomorrow Ltd, and in a developing partnership with agency Power Rich, which acquired a minority stake in A-Cold-Wall in 2018. The two firms will be responsible for A-Cold-Wall’s retail, wholesale, and e-commerce operations, with the goal of establishing in-depth communication with domestic shoppers and enhancing the brand’s popularity through online and offline channels.
