After the South African designer Thebe Magugu and the Franco-Belgian label Ester Manas, it is the turn of Lutz Huelle as the protagonist of the project "Amigo", launched last March by Az Factory, the label founded by Alber Elbaz.
The German designer will have to interpret the spirit of the Parisian Maison founded at the end of 2020 by Alber Elbaz with the Swiss luxury group Richemont, shortly before the famous designer passed away.

After completing his Degree in Fashion Design at Central St Martin's College in London and a three-year stint as a Designer working with Martin Margiela, Lutz Huelle founded his eponymous Label in 2000 with partner David Ballu presenting the ready-to-wear collections at Paris Fashion Week. Lutz has also worked as a consultant at MaxMara Fashion Group and Brioni.

A twice winner of the Andam Award, the biggest Fashion Prize in France, and the Pret-a-Porter Prize at GWAND in Lucerne, Switzerland, Lutz' approach has been described as "Decontextualisation": taking things out of context, reinventing ways to wear a classic wardrobe, working on a structure, volume, and identity. His style is characterized by a mix of different genres and types of garments, sportswear and evening, casual and formal, feminine and masculine.

The collaboration will debut on October 3 with a fashion show scheduled for the upcoming Paris fashion week. The collection will be on sale from next February 2023.
