Tokyo Fashion Award is a new type of fashion prize that selects fashion brands from Tokyo that has the potential to grow in the international market and support their oversea expansion. The format aims to bring fashion designers from Tokyo into the world by supporting their businesses continuously. The announcement of the 8 designers of the 8th edition was held during the Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo SS23 on September 3, 2022, at Shibuya Hikarie (2-21-1, Shibuya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo).
