When designers, models, press, fashionistas and fashion professionals once again get together during Copenhagen Fashion Week in August they will be in for an experience beyond the ordinary: The shopping street “Strøget” will be transformed into the worlds longest outdoor catwalk (1).

More than 200 models will be walking the 1.3 km. catwalk, which will stretch from Copenhagen City Hall and all the way to “The King’s Square”(a big square in front of the Royal Danish Theatre).
The world’s greatest catwalk is the result of a unique collaboration between Copenhagen Fashion Week, Dansk Fashion & Textile, Copenhagen City Center, Wonderful Copenhagen and the four Fashion Fairs: Gallery, CIFF, Terminal 2 and Cph Vision - and the Foundation for Promotion of Denmark (who has donated Dkk. 5 mio. to the project), with the aim to brand and promote Danish fashion and Copenhagen Fashion Week.
The event will take place Saturday the 14th of August 2010 and is open to public.
